An 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course offers year-round play and features oversized practice facilities, including a short game area and putting green. Five sets of tees provide golfers of all skill levels the opportunity to experience this picturesque, lake-view course. In 2013, this course was added as a host course for the annual BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by SYNNEX Corporation.
The 20,000 square-foot Orchard House, which overlooks The Reserve’s Great Lawn, is the heart of The Reserve’s daily activity. The casually elegant Craftsman-styled clubhouse features men’s and women’s locker rooms with card rooms, pro shop, casual and upscale dining with lounges, and a full-service bar.
Additional facilities include basketball, pickleball, volleyball and badminton courts, horseshoe pits, canoes and kayaks, softball and soccer fields, a spacious covered picnic area and 5+ miles of private hiking trails.
The Reserve has two pool pavilions – one with fun water features and the other with water fountains and a jetted hot tub. The Reserve’s Cabana Grill serves both of these pavilions.
The Reserve’s Tennis and Fitness Center features lighted, outdoor Har-Tru courts, Nautilus fitness equipment, free weights, aerobics area, and locker rooms.
The marina has 200 wet slips and includes dry stack boat storage. Lake Keowee is over 26 miles long and 4 miles at its widest points and the 18,500-acre lake is noted as one of the purest on the eastern seaboard.
The lakeside Village Center includes a community market, post office, Founders Hall and real estate office. On-site dining options include a choice of indoor or alfresco service at the clubhouse, plus casual poolside and golf course grills.
There are a number of local and regional attractions: Furman & Clemson Universities are within a 45 minute drive; shopping in Pickens, Easley, Clemson, and Greenville; and Greenville, SC and Asheville, NC offer cultural, entertainment, and dining attractions within an hour drive.
There are a number of medical facilities close by: Cannon Memorial Hospital in Pickens, Palmetto Baptist Hospital in Easley, Oconee Medical Center in Seneca, and a large selection of nationally top-ranked hospitals and medical facilities in nearby Greenville and Asheville.
